This policy explains what information the SeedBOS mobile app ("the App") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The App is the mobile companion to the SeedBOS desktop system and is used by staff of organisations that have a SeedBOS account.
Information we collect
- Account details – your name, email address, phone number and username (user ID), provided when your account is created or when you register in the App.
- Photos and videos – images or videos you choose to take with the camera or attach from your device in the App. The App only uses the camera, microphone or photo library when you start that action.
- Business records – information you enter for your organisation, such as inventory movements, locations, weight readings, job and customer details, and notes.
The App does not collect your location, contacts, health data or payment card details.
How we use it
- To sign you in and manage your account.
- To provide the App's features, such as recording and showing inventory movements for your organisation.
- To respond when you contact us for support.
Advertising and tracking
The App shows no advertising, does not use your advertising ID, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. Records you enter are visible to authorised users in your organisation's SeedBOS account. We use a hosting provider to run the SeedBOS servers; it stores the data on our behalf and may not use it for any other purpose. We may disclose information if required by law.
Security
Information is sent between the App and our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secured servers, with access limited to authorised personnel.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your account details while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and the personal details stored with it at any time – see Delete your SeedBOS account. Business records entered for your organisation belong to that organisation and may be kept in its records.
Children
The App is a workplace tool and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
